How to make the most tender carnitas tacos ever!

Carnitas tacos are always SUPER JUICY! The best part: Making your own carnitas is super easy! The meat simmers in lard and beer, and apart from adding a few ingredients, you don't have to do much. A good taco salsa is a must, of course.

Ingredients for the best carnitas tacos:

- 1.5 to 2 kg pork from the rump or shoulder

- Lard as desired - ideally: 1 kg lard per kg meat.

- 4 to 6 garlic cloves

- 6 to 8 allspice berries

- 4 bay leaves

- 1 large onion

- Rosemary and thyme sprigs

- 1 cinnamon stick (or 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder)

- 1 beer

- 2 oranges

- 1 glass of evaporated milk

- Small handful of cilantro

- 1 red onion

- Limes

- A little water

- Corn tortillas

- Salt
